T’ai Chi aims principally to develop the student to a point where they can perform all its movements, that have been practiced slowly.
T’ai Chi training is undertaken in stages,
The first aiming towards the promotion of good health and the correct mental attitude,
The Second employing meditation in preparation for the final stage.
The Final stage being when T’ai Chi is developed as a martial art.
In the West the focus is primarily on the first two stages, with few people practicing T’ai Chi as a martial art. |

T'ai Chi can be offered to a group or as ONE to ONE training. From passed experience I have found that the T'ai Chi Student can learn up to 6 times faster in a ONE to ONE session, But T'ai Chi practise in a group is very sociable and rewarding.
The Training Room at You First Relaxation is a nice environment to gain a good foundation for your T'ai Chi practise. For groups that are interested in T'ai Chi practise, various locations are available across Leeds.
For Community based organisations, You First Relaxation has a social enterprise package so community based groups may take advantage of government funding. Click here for more information. |
